Sony Pictures has released the full-length trailer for “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” the sequel to 2021’s successful “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.” Directed by Gil Kenan, the film takes the reins from Jason Reitman, who continues as a producer and co-writer alongside Kenan and Jason Blumenfeld.

Here, they collaborate with the original Ghostbusters, now equipped with a top-secret research lab, to elevate their ghost-busting capabilities. However, their mission takes a turn with the discovery of an ancient artifact that unleashes a malevolent force, prompting both the new and old Ghostbusters to unite and protect their home from the impending threat of a second Ice Age.
