Is the world’s creepiest doll on the loose? That’s what the internet thought after whispers spread that the “possessed” Annabelle doll had vanished mid-tour in the US. Fans freaked out when she didn’t show up during a stop in New Orleans.
Spooky Coincidence or Paranormal Plot?
To stir the pot, a historic resort nearby mysteriously went up in flames. Cue the online conspiracy theories: Was Annabelle behind it? Had she escaped her glass prison and sparked a supernatural scene straight out of a horror flick?

Thankfully, Dan Rivera from the New England Society for Psychic Research jumped on TikTok to calm our collectively haunted nerves. “She’s here,” he said, walking into the Warrens’ Occult Museum and filming the creepy doll, still sitting smugly in her locked case.
