A woman has been charged with common assault and wounding after police were called to an incident at a Devonport on Friday.
A 29-year-old man received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, and was taken to the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie, where he is reported to be in a stable condition.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and later charged.

She has been remanded in custody to appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.
