The ACTU is applauding the Fair Work Commission’s minimum wage rise of 5.75%, calling it ‘historic’ while appealing to the Reserve Bank not to raise interest rates next week to effectively cancel it out for workers.
From July 1st, the minimum wage will rise by $70 dollars to $882.80 per week.
