Tasmania’s road toll has climbed once more, following a serious motorcycle crash overnight.
It’s been confirmed a 32-year-old Underwood man lost his life on Lilydale Road in Rocherlea.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 8:30pm on Monday, August 29 2022.
It appears the man had been riding a grey Honda CBR motorcycle, before losing control and crashing near the intersection of Archer Street.
Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, the rider could not be saved.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash and are now looking for witnesses.
