Ulverstone is set to become Hot Rod Heaven when it hosts the Australian Street Rod Federation nationals for the second time in six years, welcoming the event back in 2027.
The Central Coast hosted the 2022 nationals, with organisers expecting the 2027 event to be twice as big this time, attracting more than 800 hot rods, customs, and classic cars, their owners and enthusiasts.
The national showcase event brings together car lovers from across the country to celebrate automotive craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation.
Central Coast Mayor Cheryl Fuller says the event is a fantastic opportunity for Ulverstone to once again shine on the national stage and she’s thrilled to welcome the national hot rod community back to the Coast, with the energy and excitement this event will bring to the region.
