Northern Tasmanian winemaker Ed Carr’s become the first Australian to be awarded Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge in London.
Ed was present to collect the honour for himself and his House of Arras winery, just the second time its been won by a winemaker outside of the Champagne region.
Around 500 experts judge at the competition.
