Taking Tasmania’s AFL team to the community

The new Tasmania Football Club will host its first of nine community conversations sessions at Queenstown on Thursday night.

The two-hour events will be led by Tasmanian club ambassador and former Richmond premiership player Jack Reiwoldt and former North Melbourne and Collingwood AFLW player Abbey Green.

The events will include a panel moderated by former Devonport journalist and Channel Seven AFL commentator Alistair Nicholson, with Tasmania Football Club chair Grant O’Brien and board members also in attendance.

Tomorrow night’s Queenstown session will be followed by one in Wynyard on Friday night and Devonport on Saturday, with all events starting at 6.30 pm.

Numbers are limited and anyone interested in attending is being asked to register on the Believe Tasmanian website.

The sessions will resume in mid-January in Hobart, Kettering, Swansea, Oatlands, Scottsdale, and Launceston.
