Tasmania’s road toll for the year so far rises to 50 on the death of Hobart man in his 20s on the Tasman Highway this morning (Friday).
He was driving a ute that hit a tree at Runnymede in the state’s central southeast.
It is less than a fortnight ago that a truck driver in his 60s was killed when he rolled a truck at St Marys.

The road toll for all of 2021 in Tasmania was 29.
