The University of Tasmania is Keen to hear from North-West Coasters about their thoughts on smoking products, including tobacco and vaping, regardless of whether or not you smoke.

The Menzies Centre and the University Tobacco Research Team are studying smoking and vaping in rural and remote locations.

They’re asking smokers, former smokers and non-smokers alike, 15 years and older, to undertake a short on-line survey.

The survey contains questions about views and experience with smoking regular cigarettes and the use of e-cigarettes, including where rural people get them from, how often people use them and their knowledge about regular cigarettes and e-cigarettes.

It’s hoped the study will help inform an approach to supporting people, especially in rural areas in Tasmania, to remove smoking products from their lives.
