A man has has died after falling from the Spirit of Tasmania off the coast near Geelong.
The vessel departed from Corio Quay at its normal 6.45 pm sailing time on Sunday night.
The ‘man overboard’ alarm was raised a short time later.

The body of the man, believed to have been a passenger on the ferry, was recovered at 8.50 pm.
The Spirit of Tasmania II later restarted its voyage and was due in Devonport at about 1 pm on Monday.
