A murder trial is underway in Launceston.
Shane Barker’s body was found at his Campbell Town property in 2009, with his former parents-in-law not charged until 2020.
The Supreme Court has heard Cedric and Noelene Jordan, who have pleaded not guilty, resented the 36 year old having shared access to their grandchild and ongoing clashes with their daughter including an alleged sexual assault.

It’s claimed the Jordans were also bitter about their daughter’s financial settlement in the divorce.
They are accused of shooting their ex son-in-law four times in the driveway of his East Street home on August 2nd, 2009.
