The Federal Opposition Leader has followed in the Prime Minister’s footsteps with a visit to the crucial Tasmanian seat of Lyons this morning.
Peter Dutton’s been touring the new Brighton IGA outlet less than 24 hours after Anthony Albanese dropped into the suburb to announce a $10 million funding commitment toward the South Brighton Development Precinct.
He says his focus for Tasmanians in the upcoming federal election include policies to reduce energy prices and inflation.
“We need a good energy policy which we’ve put forward and you need to make sure that the reckless spending stops and at the moment the federal government is spending money like a drunken sailor and that’s what is keeping upward pressure on inflation.”
