Popular Tasmanian roadhouse franchise Mood Food is making a move into the North-West Coast.
The brand, which started 50 years ago at Kempton in the South of the state, is owned by Bennett’s Petroleum and already has six outlets in the South and one in Launceston.
The former Wattle Hill Caltex service station on the Bass Highway just outside Latrobe is being re-branded as Mood Food, and a brand new Burnie Mood Food is currently under construction on the Bass Highway at South Burnie.
The new facility, adjacent to the recently-opened KFC store in the same location, is expected to be operational by the end of the month.
