Motorists using the Bass Highway between Penguin and Ulverstone between Friday and Monday are being told to expect minor delays due to roadworks.
Department of State Growth workers will be repairing the highway between South Road, Penguin, and Knights Road, Ulverstone, between 9am and 3 pm over the four days.
Motorists can expect reduced speed limits and frequent lane closures during the repairs.
Preparations for future resurfacing are also currently underway on the Bass Highway between Maskells Road and Buttons Creek at Ulverstone, which is also expected to be completed oby Monday afternoon.
The Department of State Growth is asking road users to obey all traffic directions and to drive to the conditions.
