The hottest tickets for December are also the coolest, with bookings filling up fast for the Ulverstone Summer on Ice event.
The Central Coast Council says it’s been surprised with the reaction to the waterfront outdoor ice skating rink, which will operate in the Ulverstone wharf precinct from December 10th to 26th.
Central Coast Mayor Cheryl Fuller says the reaction to the unique attraction has been a big surprise and she’s suggesting if people want to enjoy what will be a wonderful event in a wonderful location, they should book as soon as possible – especially if it’s for a school group or work function.
Meanwhile, Ice Sports Tasmania president Anna Halliday has welcomed the temporary ice rink, saying it will increase awareness and support Tasmanians who working towards a permanent ice rink for the state.
