Just a couple of years after they pulled the pin on Marion Bay, organisers of the Falls Festival have announced that this year’s events at Lorne, Byron Bay and Fremantle will not be going ahead.
Secret Sounds Co-CEO and Falls producer Jessica Ducrou said the break was in order to “allow some space to re-imagine how Falls will look in the future”.
The music and arts festival rang in the new year here in Tassie for 17 years – featuring performers such as John Farnham, Arctic Monkeys, Childish Gambino and Lewis Capaldi – before officially calling it quits in 2021.
