An elderly woman has been taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital following an assault in the Hobart CBD on Wednesday.
It’s alleged a group of youths were throwing items from the top floor of the Argyle Street Carpark into Wellington Walk, when a full can of soft drink struck the 76-year-old.
A 13-year-old, understood to be a girl, was arrested and will be subject to the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.

Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
