A 36 year old Tasmanian man has been charged with drug trafficking, after an almost month long operation in the state’s south.
The equivalent of around 680 individual street deals of methamphetamine was seized, after separate searches at two northern suburbs properties as part of Operation Finger.
Police also allegedly found ammunition and a significant quantity of stolen tools, that have since been returned to their owners.
It’s alleged the man tried to dodge police by jumping multiple fences of neighbouring properties, before he was brought in by authorities.
The 36 year old is facing multiple charges including trafficking a controlled substance, possessing a controlled drug, stealing and burglary.
Operation Finger also saw the arrests of three other people – for alleged drug, stealing and burglary charges.
