Tasmania has recorded another death linked to Coronavirus.

A man in his 80s has passed away in the North of the State.

His passing takes the State’s Covid toll to 142 since the pandemic began.

Active Coronavirus numbers have fallen once more, even with a slight rise in daily numbers.

Public Health is reporting 944 new infections in the past 24 hours.

129 people are in hospital with Covid-19, 38 of those people are being treated specifically for symptoms.

9 people are being cared for in the ICU.

There are now 5,676 active cases being monitored statewide, 2,989 of those recorded in the South.
