Three Coastal communities have been named in the top 10 greenest suburbs or towns in Tasmania.
Solar Run, a leading renewable energy advocate and provider has analysed data from the Clean Energy Council of Australia relating to the installation of solar power in Australian homes between 2020 and 2023.
No Tasmanian towns made the top 10 nationwide, East Devonport, Sprent and Wivenhoe made the top 1o for Tasmania.

East Devonport led the way, ranked at number three, with 271 new solar power installations carried out during the period.
Sprent came in at number four, with 157 installations, with Wivenhoe in sixth, with 153.
Launceston suburb Blackstone Heights was rated the greenest suburb or town in Tasmania, with 465 new solar installations.
