The Bureau of Meteorology is telling us Christmas Day on Monday will be okay for outdoor activities, including barbecues and backyard cricket.

The bureau is predicting a partly cloudy day for the North-West Coast, with a possible shower, with temperatures in the low 20s and high teens.

Devonport, Smithton, Port Sorell, Railton, Latrobe and Sheffield can expect a top of 22 degrees.

A maximum temperature of 21 degrees has been forecast for Wynyard, Burnie, Penguin, Ulverstone, and Stanley.

However, it looks like the West Coast will get the best Christmas Day weather in the state, with a partly cloudy day with 24 degrees forecast for Queenstown and Strahan, and 23 for Zeehan and Rosebery.
