Burnie will host Tasmania’s first New Years Eve drone show at Sea FM Burnie’s Fire on the Foreshore NYE Event.
Billed as electronic fireworks, the 150 drones will form intricate and spectacular patterns above West Beach, with two shows at 9.30 pm and midnight. Highlighting Tasmania, its Land and some of our Iconic Wildlife,
“We are thrilled to bring this groundbreaking event to Burnie and Tasmania. The drone show represents a shift towards environmentally conscious and inclusive celebrations, setting a new standard for New Year’s Eve festivities,” remarked Chloe Foster, General Manager of Sea FM Burnie.
Sea FM Burnie say it will be environmentally friendly with zero emissions and won’t upset pets and animals, including the nearby little penguin rookery at West Beach. This event will also be inclusive for those with Sensory issues.
Sea FM Burnie’s Fire on the Foreshore, the Family Friendly Event, will be located at West beach on Saturday 31st, December from 6PM.
