The Blindness

Written and directed by North West Tasmanian local Rebecca Griffin. The Blindness is a play that explores what the world would be like if men experienced blindness during a partner’s pregnancy.

What is the answer to the ‘My body, my choice’, now that men are affected by physical changes in pregnancy, and what would the government do in response, that they wouldn’t do for women now that men are affected by pregnancy.

Starring Gillian English, Lucas Hodge and Caroline Cherry, The Blindness explore themes of patriarchy, power and equality, society and bodily autonomy.

This powerhouse debut is not to be missed!
