Drive 4 Us & Others (Wynyard)

Deputy Mayor of Waratah/Wynyard Council, Celisa Edwards invites the community to an event close to her heart, supporting Road Safety Awareness.

She proudly presents Drive For Us & Others, an event focused on raising awareness, honouring those affected by road trauma, and creating space for reflection.

Last year’s event was a great success, with over 50 community members coming together. This year, the event will be held at the new Wynyard Sensory Garden. Deputy Mayor Celisa Edwards invites the community to join her from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday the 23rd of May, for an afternoon of connection and awareness.

The event will include guest speakers (to be announced soon), as well as an optional short walk to Pit Stop to view an installation sharing personal stories.

Event schedule:

4:00pm – 4:30pm: Short walk between the Wynyard Sensory Garden and Pit Stop
4:30pm – 6:00pm: Guest speakers and community connection
