2026 Honey & Hive Festival

The North West Beekeepers (North West Branch Tasmanian Beekeepers Association) exists to foster interest in beekeeping, to support its members in their beekeeping and to encourage all in our community to support and protect bees as one in three mouthfuls of the food we eat relies on bees (honeybees) and without them life would not be possible as we know it!

The 2026 Honey & Hive Festival will feature numerous bee displays and presentations and the public will be able to get up close to bees in our gals hives as well as our bee enclosure where members will demonstrate working with bees in their hives.

We have over 50 market stall coming who will sell honey & Honey products as well as arts & crafts and food and coffee.

Come along dressed as a bee and win a prize of take part in our Bee suit dress up races. One maybe you would like to  play some bee games??

We will again have our monster raffle, which this year has a huge number of valuable prizes supplied by numerous community companies as well as beekeeping equipment suppliers eg Bunnings, Repco Burnie, Westside Pharmacy, West Ulverstone and the list goes on… Tickets will be available on the day and members will be selling tickets at various events leading up to the Festival.

Come along and enjoy a wonderful day out!
