Authorities were alerted to Riana late Saturday night following reports of cries for help, possibly a male voice coming from dense bushland.
A search in the Riana area was activated after Police also heard the calls, however due to conditions called it off at 3am.
Efforts resumed on Sunday morning around Blythe River in the vicinity of the South Riana Damn with the help of S.E.S volunteers and the Westpac chopper.

The concern for welfare was dropped this morning after the person was identified – confirming they were in distress on Saturday night, however later left the area.
The person is unharmed and helping authorities with enquiries
