The State Government has committed $420,000 in the upcoming State Budget to bring the Central Coast Council’s Ulverstone Waterfront Master Plan to life.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff says the plan will reinvigorate the Ulverstone waterfront precinct stretching from the Ulverstone Rowing Club on the Leven River through Fairway Park and to the Ulverstone Surf Life Saving Club on Beach Road in the East.
Mr Rockliff says the precinct will promote local tourism, health and well-being, and also integrate climate change strategies, including flood risks and erosion assessments.
Central Coast Mayor Cheryl Fuller says the Ulverstone Waterfront Master Plan will create a vision and detailed plan for a world-class waterfront precinct.
