March 4, 2025 10:30 am in by

TasRail is again reminding people not to trespass on the rail corridor after yet another near miss, which could have ended tragically.

The company has posted video footage on its Facebook page of a train narrowly missing a man who was picking blackberries near Ulverstone, oblivious of the approaching train until the driver spotted him and blew his horn, with the train missing him by centimetres.

The post is titled “don’t be a corridor clown” and warns trains are quieter than some may think.
