Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced Federal funding of $6 million for the final stage of the Devonport City Council’s Living City Project.
The final stage will see the construction of a new subdivision with 30 affordable housing units, redevelopment of the Devonport Indie School and former Devonport Library site, and building new retail sites.

Mr Albanese says the final stage of the project will take Devonport to the next level.
The Prime Minister, who was in Devonport yesterday, also announced almost $620,000 in funding for a community health and well-being hub at Smithton.
