Veterans on the North-West Coast will be able to get access to services and support with the opening of a veteran’s hub at the Devonport RSL on Friday, with plans similar facilities at Wynyard and Queenstown next year.
The new facilities, known as “hub spokes” will supplement the larger veteran hubs already operating in Hobart and Launceston and an office at Railton.
The new spokes will provide services, programmes and connections for veterans and their families, ensuring they get the care they deserve.
