The annual Tasmania Police Charity Ride will hit the roads from Thursday, this year raising funds for Downs Syndrome Tasmania and Special Olympics.
Dozens of cyclists from Tasmania Police and State Service employees, including a number from the North-West Coast, will depart Deloraine this morning, riding to Poatina, before returning to Deloraine tomorrow to ride through Chudleigh, Mole Creek , Mount Roland, Cethana, and Moina, before finishing at Cradle Mountain.
Saturday will see cyclists travel from Cradle Mountain to Rosebery and Zeehan before finishing at Strahan.
The ride has been going since 2006 and has raised thousands of dollars for Tasmanian charities, making a difference to the lives of children and young people in need.
