Coast’s food and scenery to feature in TV series

The best of the North-West Coast’s food and scenery will be featured on the national stage in December as part of the Taste of Australia TV series on the Seven Network.

The show is hosted by former Masterchef Australia contestant Hayden Quinn, featuring the best produce and scenery from around the country.

Filming is currently underway on the North-West Coast for two episodes which will air on December 7th and 14th.

The new series will be on the Seven Network, moving over from Network Ten.

Premier and Tourism Minister Jeremy Rockliff says the filming is being supported by Tourism Tasmania as part of the Come Down For Air marketing campaign.

Mr Rockliff says the North-West has ome of the finest produce and landscapes in the country and agri-tourism plays an important role in attracting visitors to the regions.

Coastal producers to be featured in the two December episodes include Table Cape Tulip Farm, Duck River Dairy, Spreyton Cider, Mount Gnomon Farm, Wattle Hill Grove Olives and Mount Roland Free Range Eggs.
