Trend rate unemployment for Tasmania in September has come in unchanged at 4.3% in newly released ABS data.
Underemployment remains one of the state’s weak spots at 7.5% by far the highest in the nation.
Meantime, Premier Rockliff told parliament today, tourism and hospitality are the state’s shining lights.
