City Mission Spring Food Drive

City Mission’s Spring Food Drive is held every September, and we are already receiving shopping bags and trolley loads of non-perishable foods from the community, schools and local businesses, to help restock the emergency relief pantry!

With cost of living increases many Tasmanian households are struggling to meet their food needs, with 33% of food-insecure households across the state also spending thousands of dollars on rent or their mortgages each month.

The community can donate non-perishable groceries directly to City Mission at 2 Alexander Street, Burnie, Upper Burnie, Wynyard and Ulverstone Woolworths and Wynyard IGA. Plus City Mission Devonport at 52 Don Road.
