Deputy Premier and Bass MP Michael Ferguson has rejected a call for him to challenge the leadership of Premier Jeremy Rockliff over the fallout from Elise Archer’s resignation from State Parliament.
During an event on Tasmania’s North West Coast today, Mr Ferguson said the Premier has his complete confidence and support.
Ex Liberal and now Independent Bass MP John Tucker has called on Mr Ferguson to mount a leadership challenge.

Mr Ferguson was on the North West Coast to turn the first sod on the long-awaited Cooee to Wynyard Coastal Pathway, which the State Government is contributing almost 14 million dollars to.
