SATURDAY 9th FEBRUARY – SUNDAY 17TH MARCH

Men with Heart - Mon-Fri 10am till 4.30pm Sat, Sun & Public Hols 1.30 till 4pm. This exhibition focuses on the road men can travel to develop the best in themselves. It shows men expressing themselves through word and action. It shows a healthy way to see men, their potential and positive contributions they make to a safe, strong and resilient community. The portrait photographs and 13 short video interviews (5-6 minute each) show healthy emotions, and a rich diverse and authentic portrayal of a healthy life-affirming masculinity in its many forms. People viewing the exhibition have been visibly touched by the work. “How wonderful to see real men loving and being loved. What a wonderful celebration of a wonderful program.” “It’s in the eyes… they are feeling listening… there in that moment.” Men’s Circles Many of these men also lead men’s groups. There will be two opportunities during the exhibition period for men to sit and experience some of the magic that can happen when men sit together, listen, and share their stories. Sunday 10 February & Sunday 17 March starting at 1.30 in the Bass & Flinders Room TASMEN (www.tasmen.org.au) are glad to share the exhibition space with Con Rhee and Grant Wells.
