SupcourtHobB

The actions of a man who was found with ecstasy in his underwear at 4am in Hobart Airport, have been described as "immature" and "out of control", by a Supreme Court judge.

Samuel Adrian Webb pleaded guilty to trafficking of a controlled substance, after 19 orange tablets were found in his underwear in February last year.

The court heard the 20-year-old Victorian and his friend had been partying for several days, and the pair attempted to buy a plane ticket to Melbourne with cash at the airport while acting suspciously, which made staff alert police.

He's been sentenced to 12 months jail - fully suspended - and 100 hours of community service.
