For the devotees, Latrobe's Chocolate Winterfest is just about as important as it gets in Tasmania and it's rolling around again this Sunday.
The annual event has 39 attractions and activities organised this year, so the recommendation is to access a programme online or check facebook or tourist information centres statewide and plan out your day.
Latrobe Council's Michelle Dutton is looking forward to a crowd favourite.
"Well the Chocolate Mousse Mayhem is always lots of fun, the Lions Club run that, so that's teams of two blindfolded feeding each other chocolate, so it's total mayhem but lots of fun through the day and it's great for people to watch, but if they are quick enough and the least messy they get a $100 chocolate hamper each."
