Police have charged two people after an alleged assault in Tasmania's south.
It's alleged an employee at the Glenorchy Central shopping centre was seriously assaulted at around 6:10pm last night.
The man was assaulted by a man and a woman, who had entered the centre as businesses were closing.
He has been taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital, suffering serious facial injuries.
Officers will allege the incident was an unprovoked targeted attack.
A man and woman, both 27-years-old and from Dodges Ferry, have been charged with assault.
They have been bailed to face the Hobart Magistrate's Court at a later date.
