A man's facing serious charges after police found firearms and a haul of allegedly stolen property at a remote Southern Midlands property.
The 38-year-old Stonehenge man was charged after police attended the property on Wednesday, recovering 18 firearms - including prohibited category C and D types - and ammunition.
Three replica pistols were also found in the arsenal.
That haul was dwarfed by a trove of other alleged loot at the property, including mountain bikes, heavy machinery parts, chainsaws and hand tools worth more than $100,000, along with a stolen vehicle, attracting a charge of unlawful possession.
The accused was due before a Magistrate in Hobart on Friday.
