Entries are now open for the Circular Heads Arts Festival Awards, better known as The Chartchies, with $5000 in prizemoney up for grabs
The main prizes of $1000 each will be awarded for the portraiture prize, known as the Charchibald Prize, and the exhibition prize, open to arty using any medium.
The awards also include a $700 photography prize, $700 for sculpture, and a $1000 youth arts prize.

The Circular Head Arts Festival will run throughout the month of September.
