Two Coastal companies Coastal Council are in the running for the Civil Contracting Federation’s Earth Awards.
Latrobe-based BridgePro and the Latrobe Council have been named a finalist for their joint-project on the $700,000 Warrawee Suspension Bridge over the Mersey River, south of Latrobe, which is part of the Wild Mersey Mountain Bike Trails network and the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Australia.
Meanwhile, Ulverstone-based Hardings Hotmix is also on the finalists list for its work on the $2.5 million all abilities playground at ANZAC Park at Somerset.
Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the Grand Chancellor in Hobart this Friday night
