Bonza Airlines will make Launceston Airport its Tasmanian home.
The airline will start a tri-weekly Launceston-Gold Coast service from November 21, with the service operating on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday each week.
Flights between the Gold Coast and Launceston are $79 per person each way on the Bonza app.

Bonza Chief Commercial Officer Carly Povey says 11,000 Tasmanians downloaded their app ahead of the announcement.
