Work is expected to start in the near future on a $51 million lifestyle village near Wynyard aimed at over 55s.
The 11.6 hectare Seabrook Lifestyle Estate development, proposed by New South Wales-based property development and project management company Connectability, is situated near Doctor’s Rocks-Bass Highway junction, and will include more than 200 homes.
The project was approved by the Waratah-Wynyard Council in April, with the proponents now seeking expressions of interest from developers, which close early next month.
The village will be developed in seven stages and will include resort-style facilities including bowling greens, tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, a theatre, a large function space, community dining and lounge areas, and a games room.
The homes won’t be sold, but leased long-term, with specialist national broker HTL Property marketing the development.
