As Parents continue to protest the State Governments budget cut's to education,
A public school Parent group is urging the Government and Unions to come to a compromise over the issue.
TASSO held an emergency meeting last night and is calling on Teachers to take an 18month pay freeze and the Government to reinstate IT personnel and boost funding for additional student support.
President Jenny Eddington says the crisis must be resolved.
“For the sake of education and our children there has to be a resolution and a way forward,so we are calling on the unions and the government to find a way to negotiate through this.”
