A woman in the US received a bill from her friend after she and her husband failed to turn up at the wedding.
Jessica Baker and her husband were ready to go to the wedding when her mother called to tell her she couldn’t watch the kids at the last minute.
Considering the wedding invitation said no children allowed, the pair couldn’t go. But in return, received a bill for $US75.90 in the mail for the dinner they would have received at the reception.
It's the Facebook post you've been talking about all day. Jay Olstad TV spoke with the woman who received an invoice for missing a wedding! http://kare11.tv/1KQRWGRPosted by KARE 11 on Tuesday, September 29, 2015
“This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP’d for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, call or text would be appreciated,” the note at the bottom of the bill read.
Has the bride gone too far or does she have a right to bill no-shows? What do you think?
